Baby Bachelor Pad
Mommy and daddy have been very busy getting my room ready for my arrival…which is very soon. They have the blinds up in my bedroom, my bookshelf is ready for my books and some shelves are ready for decorations. Oh yeah and since my walk-in closet has a window…that has blinds too! -Baby McLaughlin
Josephine McLaughlin
It is with a heavy heart and tremendous sadness that I tell you all that Brian’s grandmother passed on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Josephine will be laid to rest this Wednesday (click here for details). May she rest in eternal peace with her husband, the late James F. McLaughlin. God Bless, Maureen
Getting Bigger

He Kicked!
This morning we saw our baby boy kick for the very first time. We were lying in bed and we saw Maureen’s belly move from the baby shifting and kicking! I was very exciting for us. Check out the week-by-week fetal development pictures at BabyCenter.com.

You can see our baby’s head at the top the picture. Our baby appears to be covering its eyes with its Continue reading
Got Appendages
Maureen and I went to our first visit with Dr. Chan this afternoon. She was great! Maureen and the baby were checked out and all is going very well. We were able to see a clear head, hands and feet. AND…we were able to her our baby’s heartbeat! More to follow in a few weeks.
House Update
It has been over a month since we have last posted a house update. There has been quite a lot of progress. The exterior color of stucco has been applied, the roof tiles are installed, the driveway and walkway has been poured. The doors have been installed throughout the house, as well as the exterior Continue reading
