Baby Bachelor Pad

Mommy and daddy have been very busy getting my room ready for my arrival…which is very soon. They have the blinds up in my bedroom, my bookshelf is ready for my books and some shelves are ready for decorations. Oh yeah and since my walk-in closet has a window…that has blinds too! -Baby McLaughlin

It is with a heavy heart and tremendous sadness that I tell you all that Brian’s grandmother passed on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Josephine will be laid to rest this Wednesday (click here for details). May she rest in eternal peace with her husband, the late James F. McLaughlin. God Bless, Maureen


He Kicked!

This morning we saw our baby boy kick for the very first time. We were lying in bed and we saw Maureen’s belly move from the baby shifting and kicking! I was very exciting for us. Check out the week-by-week fetal development pictures at BabyCenter.com.


Granite Rocks

The house looks like it is almost finished from the front. The garage door has been installed and the front and side yard landscaping is complete. Got Appendages

Maureen and I went to our first visit with Dr. Chan this afternoon. She was great! Maureen and the baby were checked out and all is going very well. We were able to see a clear head, hands and feet. AND…we were able to her our baby’s heartbeat! More to follow in a few weeks.


House Update

It has been over a month since we have last posted a house update. There has been quite a lot of progress.
