UPDATE: After posting this numerous friends educated me on who Abby Wombach is. I’m so glad they did. About a week later I even saw a documentary on her and discovered how truly remarkable she is. I’m glad I posted this because I learned a lot. See, sharing your ignorance helps you to learn. 

Let me start by saying that I am not a huge soccer fan/follower. So, pardon my ignorance but I’ve been seeing this sign for a few weeks now and I can’t help but wonder…if this is an ad for “FIFA Women’s World Cup” why is there a picture of a man instead of a woman? Am I missing something?

I know this is random. This is my brain. This is what it does. It bothers me.
