I can’t believe it’s the beginning of my ninth month already. When I first found out I was pregnant I remember thinking that nine months seemed like such a long journey; now the due date is right around the corner. I went to see my doctor today and she said everything looks normal. Baby McLaughlin’s heartbeat is strong, he’s moving a lot, and he’s growing at a normal rate. I’ve gained a total of 14 pounds so far (that’s not bad) and my blood pressure was normal – 112. The doc said we appear to be on track for the May 23rd due date but she wants me to walk a lot (4 to 5 hours a day) to make sure he arrives on time and not late. I’m praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby.
