Lots of play time + lots of tummy time = a very tired Ethan. Ethan and I spent about two hours on the bed today. We laughed, we talked, we napped, we played, we had a blast. We started off by just laying in bed and staring at each other. Then we giggled and talked. It’s so neat to see him actually have a conversation; the back and forth banter, seeing him staring intently when I talk, and then he starts to talk only after I have stopped. He’s learning the art of conversation!

After that we stared at the ceiling fan while listening to his Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Soothe & Glow Seahorse (the best toy ever, not to mention a lifesaver for getting him to fall asleep). Finally I flipped him over for a little “tummy time”. Ethan is getting so good at holding his head up. He can hold it up for such a long time now and he barely wobbles. I watch him continue to grow and develop daily and the change is amazing. He’s so strong! He even managed to turn over again today and I got it on video this time! In the end, he finally conked out. He was exhausted and earned his well deserved nap with Gigi (thanks, Teena, he loves the giraffe).
