Most of my friends know what a foodie I am. Most of my friends know that my husband is not. A lot of people ask me how I make our relationship work when something that is a part of our every day life (f00d) is SO opposite. The answer – f00dclub!
The idea started when I was at my last employer (Arcadian) and has carried over to my current employer (CAA). I found a group of friends who have the same food interest, okay obsession, as I do and we eat – A LOT. I don’t think I have ever blogged about f00dclub yet but it’s high time I start. I mean, let’s face it, food is beautiful and delicious and we need to talk about it.
I first heard about Bao Dim Sum House through a Yelp weekly newsletter appropriate entitled “Not Your Average Dumpling”. Of course, I immediately forwarded it to my f00dclub members. Surprisingly, I only got one response. But, that’s all I needed. I first read the reviews on Yelp. I booked our reservation through Open Table and we were off. Bao Dim Sum offers complimentary valet parking and accepts reservations so it’s already favorable in my book because this combination is rare in Beverly Hills. The food turned out to be so good here that we ended up going back with another f00dclub member today. The experience was great, the food was once again amazing, and it was an overall wonderful afternoon. Here are some, and I do mean some, of the things we enjoyed.
If you’re a fan of dim sum, like me, I highly recommend you give Bao Dim Sum House a try.
